On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, Ms. Zhang Yujie, Vice Chairwoman of Shaanxi University of International Trade and Commerce, paid an official visit to the School of International Education to inspect, guide, and review the progress of the school’s construction and reform initiatives. The faculty and staff of the School of International Education warmly welcomed Ms. Zhang Yujie with applause and flowers, expressing their heartfelt gratitude for the university leadership’s continued care and support for the school’s development.
在座谈交流中，国际教育学院王同院长首先代表学院向张副董事长汇报了近期重点工作，包括学院整体改造进度、教学改革成果、国际化课程建设及师生教学互动情况等。袁春萍副院长围绕教学体系建设、教师发展与课程创新进行了系统汇报，党支部书记朱龙龙则从学生思想教育、日常管理及国际学生服务等方面进行了总结汇报。三位负责人全面展示了学院在国际化教育与“去中介化”改革方面的阶段性成果，得到了张副董事长的充分肯定。
During the meeting and discussion session, Dean Wang Tong of the School of International Education first presented a comprehensive report to Ms. Zhang Yujie, outlining the school’s recent key initiatives, including the overall progress of campus renovation, achievements in teaching reform, the development of internationalized curricula, and enhanced teacher-student interaction. Vice Dean Yuan Chunping provided a systematic briefing on the construction of the teaching system, faculty development, and curriculum innovation. Party Secretary Zhu Longlong delivered a summary report focusing on student ideological education, daily management, and international student services. Together, the three leaders offered a thorough overview of the school’s phased achievements in internationalized education and the ongoing “de-intermediation” reform, which received high recognition and commendation from Ms. Zhang Yujie.
汇报结束后，学院教师代表孙雪、张雯瀚老师分别向张副董事长送上鲜花。张副董事长对全体教职工的辛勤付出表示赞许，并特别关心教师的职业成长与学生的学习发展。她指出，国际教育学院要始终坚持“以学生为本”，持续提升师生的国际化视野，构建开放、包容、创新的学习与文化环境。
张副董事长强调，要深入贯彻落实赵超董事长提出的“三结合·五赋能”应用型人才培养理念，将“国际化教育”与“创新型育人”相融合，在教学与管理中不断拓宽师生成长空间与国际视野，为全校学生提供更丰富的学习体验与更具活力的国际文化氛围。
After the briefing, faculty representatives Ms. Sun Xue and Ms. Zhang Wenhan presented bouquets of flowers to Ms. Zhang Yujie as a gesture of respect and gratitude. Ms. Zhang Yujie expressed her appreciation for the dedication and hard work of all faculty and staff, showing particular concern for the professional growth of teachers and the academic development of students. She emphasized that the School of International Education should continue to uphold the principle of “student-centered education”, constantly broadening the international vision of both teachers and students, and fostering an open, inclusive, and innovative learning and cultural environment.
Ms. Zhang Yujie further underscored the importance of thoroughly implementing the “Three Combinations and Five Empowerments” model of applied talent cultivation proposed by Chairman Zhao Chao. She encouraged the school to integrate internationalized education with innovative teaching practices, continuously expanding the developmental space and global perspective of faculty and students, and creating a more dynamic and globally oriented learning atmosphere across the university.
在视察环节，张副董事长实地检阅了国际教育学院升级后的学生活动室与自习室。梁馨月、肖茹月以及外籍专家Ali老师现场介绍了学院自主设计的文化创意产品系列，包括纪念徽章、文创饰品、特色服饰等。这些作品充分展示了学院在国际文化融合与创意教育方面的特色。张副董事长对此表示高度认可，并指出：“能够把国外的优秀文化理念和教育资源带回国内、融合创新，是国际教育学院最具价值的探索方向。”
During the inspection, Ms. Zhang Yujie conducted an on-site review of the newly upgraded student activity rooms and study areas of the School of International Education. Ms. Liang Xinyue, Ms. Xiao Ruyue, and international expert Mr. Ali introduced the school’s independently designed series of cultural and creative products, including commemorative badges, cultural accessories, and custom-designed apparel. These creations vividly showcased the school’s distinctive achievements in international cultural integration and creative education.
Ms. Zhang Yujie expressed her high recognition and appreciation, noting that “bringing back outstanding cultural concepts and educational resources from abroad and integrating them with domestic innovation represents one of the most valuable directions for the School of International Education’s development.”
随后，张副董事长走进国际教育学院肖茹丹老师的创新英语课堂，现场观摩了学院自主创新的互动式教学模式。课堂气氛热烈、学生积极参与，充分展现了“以学生为主体”的教学理念。张副董事长表示，这样的课堂形式非常新颖、富有活力，鼓励学院继续推动教学创新，让学生真正成为学习的主人。
Subsequently, Ms. Zhang Yujie visited the innovative English class taught by Ms. Xiao Rudan of the School of International Education, where she observed the school’s newly developed interactive teaching model in action. The class was vibrant and engaging, with students actively participating and demonstrating the student-centered teaching philosophy that the school upholds. Ms. Zhang Yujie commended the innovative approach, noting that “this form of teaching is highly creative and full of vitality.” She encouraged the school to continue advancing pedagogical innovation, ensuring that students truly become the protagonists of their own learning process.
在参观楼道文化展时，张副董事长仔细观看了学院展示的师生海外学习、交流及校领导出访合作的真实照片，充分肯定了“去中介化”理念下的展示方式。她指出，这种直观、生动的呈现方式让国际化成果可见、可感，应进一步拓展展示内容，增加学生的优秀作品与成长故事，让走廊成为“展示学生天地、传递国际精神”的窗口。
While visiting the hallway cultural exhibition, Ms. Zhang Yujie carefully viewed the authentic photographs showcasing the experiences of faculty and students studying and engaging in exchanges abroad, as well as the university leadership’s overseas visits and partnership activities. She highly commended the exhibition’s “de-intermediation” approach, which highlights authenticity and direct representation.
Ms. Zhang Yujie remarked that such a vivid and intuitive display makes the university’s international achievements visible and tangible. She further suggested that the exhibition content be expanded to include more outstanding student works and personal growth stories, turning the corridors into a window that both showcases student achievements and conveys the spirit of international education.
